Avatai is an AI-powered roleplay chat platform where users interact with AI characters. Characters are powered by third-party AI models and generate responses based on their defined personality and conversation context.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Avatai. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The platform may contain mature or explicit content generated by AI or created by users.
You are solely responsible for all content you create on Avatai, including characters, messages, and any material shared through the platform. Avatai does not monitor, review, endorse, or assume responsibility for user-generated content or AI-generated responses.
You agree not to use Avatai to create content that violates applicable laws, promotes real-world violence, or depicts minors in any inappropriate context.
AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or offensive. Avatai makes no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. Use at your own discretion.
Free users receive a limited number of daily messages. The exact number of free messages may be adjusted at any time without prior notice. Additional messages may be earned by watching advertisements when available.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment provider, Polar. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.
No refunds. All payments are final. When you cancel, your Pro benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.
You retain ownership of characters and content you create. By making characters public, you grant Avatai a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them to other users.
The Avatai name, logo, and platform design are the property of Avatai. You may not use our branding without permission.
Avatai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress caused by AI-generated content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
